Just a few months ago I took a group of children to Hammond Indiana were we attended a workshop call the Compassionate Experience. In this workshops we visited different rooms that was all set up as different countries. It showed us how children lived, in one room it showed the food the children ate, how they wash their clothes in the same pots and pans they cooked in. These children had little to no help of education until different foundations step in and contributed to give these children a chance. The particular young lady whom I can not remember by name was sponsored by a family whom made sure she had meals and was able to get medical attention. They also mention how her sibling wasn't so lucky and died from a terminal illness that could have been prevented if she had receive medical treatment. This young lady is very successful now and also is a sponsor for another child from her country. This inspired me a great deal to see how people are willing to help a child in need. The great gift of all they left an impression on that young lady, and now she is giving back.
